Start from the GIF, not from scratch
Dropping an animated GIF in gives you every frame as a layer at its original delay, which is almost always a better starting point than rebuilding the timing by hand.

Reorder before you re-time
Get the frames into the right order first, then set delays. Reordering never changes any frame's duration, so the two edits never fight each other.

Set delays in one pass at the end
Give everything a uniform delay with the all-frames field, then lengthen only the frames that need to sit longer. That is far fewer decisions than tuning each frame as you go.
About this tool
The GIF Editor opens an animated GIF the way an editor should: every frame arrives as its own layer, carrying the delay it had in the file. From there you can add photographs, delete frames you don't want, drag frames into a different order, and set timing on one frame or across the whole animation.
There are two views over the same animation — a frame strip and a track timeline — and switching between them loses nothing, because frames are derived from the timeline rather than stored beside it. Export runs through the same engine as the GIF Compressor, and like every tool here it runs on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

Can I change how long one frame stays on screen?
Yes — type a delay under any frame in the frame strip, or drag its edge in the timeline. Both are the same edit.
Can I add my own photos to an existing GIF?
Yes. Drop in JPEGs or PNGs and they arrive as new frames at the end, ready to be reordered or re-timed.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The GIF is decoded and re-encoded in your browser; nothing leaves your device.
